Anasuya Bharadwaj is one of the most popular actresses in the South Indian film industry. She has been part of many hit films and, over the years, has garnered a lot of love from the audience. She started her career as an anchor and later shifted to acting in films. She has also been in the news for a lot of controversies. She is often seen sharing her views, which have not gone down well with the audience. Recently, she has been a part of another controversy where she gave back to a netizen who tried to troll her upon her attempt to recreate the looks of old iconic actresses like Savitri, Sridevi, and more. Anasuya slammed these social media users and expressed her views.
In an award ceremony, Anasuya was seen re-creating a few songs by famous yesteryear actresses like Savitri, Jamuna, Sridevi, and Soundarya. She was seen in similar dresses and make-up, looking like the actress, and even posted photos of the same on social media. Later, one of the social media users commented satirically and said that it is not easy to recreate actress Savitri by exposing oneself in revealing costumes.
In response to the comment, Anasuya replied that yes, it is very tough for anyone to act like Savitri Amma. But she also stressed that even exposure is not easy, and one has to prepare both emotionally and physically to portray a look or wear any costume. She stated that she just tried to pay tribute to Savitri Amma and nothing else.
Earlier, Anasuya was involved in another controversy with Vijay Deverakonda. The actress had accused him of paying his PR to troll her on social media. All of this started when Anasuya openly criticised Arjun Reddy for using cuss words that were intended to ward mothers and sisters. She was brutally trolled by Vijay Deverakonda’s fans after the situation.
Anasuya was last seen in an important role in Srikanth Addala’s Peddha Kapu 1. There was a lot of anticipation for the film, but it failed to leave an impact on the audience. Apart from that, it is widely known that she will also be a part of Allu Arjun’s most-awaited sequel, Pushpa: The Rule.
