PUDUCHERRY: As many as 120 candidates were recruited by two private companies during a one-day job mela held by the Labour Department here.Puducherry Welfare Minister P Rajavelu handed over the appointment letters to them at the end of the mela in which Sparsh BPO Services Limited and G4S Security (India) Limited participated yesterday, a Labour department release said.While 35 applicants were selected for the post of Customer Services Assistant in the BPO firm, the others in G4S Security, it said.Candidates in the age group of 18-48 attended the mela.
