2 cops caught taking bribe

HYDERABAD: A sub inspector of police and a constable of Chilkalaguda police station were trapped by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths while taking bribe. According to ACB officials, the SI Srinivasa Rao and constable, Kondaiah, were trapped in the Chilkalaguda police station on Wednesday night at around 10.30 p.m when they took `8,000 bribe from a person.
They demanded the money to release a bike which was involved in an accident and was seized by the Chilkalaguda police.The SI demanded the bribe and took it from the brother of the motorist who was involved in the accident. The SI handed over the amount to the constable when the ACB sleuths caught them. They were arrested.
