4 railwaymen injured while dousing engine fire near Mukundia station

Four railwaymen received burn injuries when the engine of a goods train carrying combustible material caught fire near Mukundia station near Katihar.

The incident took place midnight on Thursday night on Katihar-Barsoi section. After noticing the fire, the drivers stopped the train and separated the engine from the wagons, Divisional Railway Manager Arun Kumar Sharma said.
