The couple was in love for many years. They had to face stiffopposition from the parents from both sides, especially Safeera’s father.Eventually,the lovers came out successful in obtaining their parents’ permission and gotmarried before the Central Islamic Council in Thailand.OnMonday the couple got married at Mattanchery as per Kerala Islamic rituals. Safeera’sbrother attended the wedding. Within a day, Safeera has gelled with her newrelatives and neighbours.Thoughdifferent from her ways, Safeera said that she liked Kerala and found thepeople very friendly. She said that she had developed a special liking forKerala food.
