 'Addhuri' earns Rs.3.5 crore in one week
Losing on the film 'Lift Kodla', Reddy has recovered from 'Addhuri'. The film collected Rs.3.5 crores on first week.

Losing heavily on the first film 'Lift Kodla' producer CMR Shanker Reddy has recovered from 'Addhuri'.

"For 'Lift Kodla' the budget was fixed at Rs 1.60 crores. It was Jaggesh starrer film. The budget went up to Rs.3 crore plus. It was a complete wash out for me" CMR Shanker Reddy says at the get together of 'Addhuri' 50 days. "This film recovered my losses" said Reddy.

In the first week the collection was Rs. 3.5 crores in the subsequent weeks it showed improvement. Reddy stated that "raising money for the film making comes to main producer, if the film succeeds it is fine. Otherwise the properties of Arjun would have been at risk."

In a meanwhile Arjun added "that film distribution work was supported by Keerthi Swamy and Baasha."

"Keerthi Swamy has been a long time family friend and his timely support has come to help. I had financial problems after some point of time. Director Arjun was in confusion" stated Reddy. "He will be busy for the next six years in the film industry" added Reddy rather dejectedly.
