Mumbai: As the antique furniture and lamps from the Mughal era welcome one to the movie premiere, one is convinced that Akbar Khan has left no stone unturned to make his epic period film- Taj Mahal - An eternal love story click at the box office.
Seen at the grand Moghul celebration was the whole star-cast of the film including Sonya Jehan, Zulfi Syed, Pooja Batra, Kim Sharma and Kabir Bedi, except Manisha Koirala.
Giving them company were - a smattering of celebs including Vinod Khanna, Randhir Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, and Kabir Bedi's children Pooja Bedi and Adam Bedi.
The premiere was more of a family evening with members of the Khan clan including Feroz and Sanjay Khan cheering their brother.
Making up for nephew Fardeen Khan?s presence ?who will be tying the wedding knot soon ? was future mom-in-law and yesteryear actress Mumtaz.
Akbar Khan, who was mostly tied up with family said, "Be it conflict, romance or politics, you?ll find everything in abundance in the film."
Debutante Sonya Jehan, the grand daughter of legendary Pakistani singer and actress Noor Jehan was overwhelmed as her family members from all over the world had come down to be with her.
After having devoted more than four years and several crores of rupees to his dream project, Akbar admitted that he was glad that his hard work and relentless pursuit to do justice to the subject, was finally seeing the light of the day.
