All set for Group-II exams from tomorrow

HYDERABAD: The Group-II examination will be held on October 15 and 16.The first paper will be held between 2 pm and 4.30 pm on October 15, the second between 10 am and 12.30 pm on October 16 and the third between 2 pm and 4.30 pm on the same day. Of the total number of 4.52 lakh candidates in the state, nearly half— 2,23,779 to be precise— are from Telangana.Of them, nearly a half— one lakh— will write the examination in Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad districts. Despite TJAC’s opposition, the government had held the Group-I examination between September 25 and October 3 successfully.But the number of examination centres then was just 18 in Telangana.Now the centres of Group- II examination in the region are 434. Labour minister Danam Nagendar appealed to the TJAC to withdraw the proposed three-day rail roko on October 15, 16 and 17 so as not to cause inconvenience to the candidates
