Ape, Magic operators row resolved

KANCHEEPURAM: A temporary rapprochement has been reached between the warring groups of private transport operators - the Ape Piaggio and the Tata Magic - and as per this agreement Tata Magic has been allotted 13 designated places on the outskirts of Kancheepuram town to park a total of 120 vehicles.After parleying for about three hours on Friday, it was resolved that both groups should not operate as ‘stage carriages’, but only as ‘contract carriages’. This stand would mean that Ape Piaggio should not carry more than four passengers including the driver.
