BANGALORE: A day after anticorruption crusader Anna Hazare's team boycotted the meeting of the Jan Lokpal Bill drafting committee, 'I Paid A Bribe', an initiative by Janaagraha,a notforprofit organisation announced on Tuesday that the organisation has launched a campaign on their website to appeal to Anna Hazare, other civil society members on the team and the India Against Corruption group to get back to the negotiating table.
T R Raghunandan, Programme Coordinator of 'I Paid A Bribe' said, "It is an extremely unfortunate event. Anna should not have boycotted the negotiation process for the Lokpal Bill".According to Raghunandan, Anna Hazare's team should not give the government an alibi to pull out of the negotiations.

Pointing out that the Jan Lokpal Bill is an important influence on the Lokayukta Act in the state in the future, he said, "Good negotiators do not take no for an answer. The Jan Lokpal committee has made a lot of progress and it is unfortunate that they have thought of boycotting it at this stage."
