Students and teachers of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Palode, are in high spirits with launch of an art workshop on July 31. Artist B D Dathan inaugurated the camp. Around 50 students of Jawahar Navodaya and selected students from other districts are participating in the workshop.
The workshop, titled as ‘Art, Ecology and Life - Gurushishya Parampara’, will conclude on August 23. Lalithakala Akademy vice chairman Kaattoor Narayana Pillai, G Azhikode, artists K V Jyothilal and Jayaprakash lead the workshop. Prof Kattoor Narayana Pillai is the camp director. B D Dathan will take classes on aesthetics of art, Nemom Pushparaj on visual art, G Azhikode on traditional art, K V Jyothilal on music in art and Jayaprakash Pazhayidon on nature and art.
