The state government award honours achievers from the Hindi film industry
After mesmerising Indian and international audiences with his epic films and winning numerous awards worldwide, filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker has now won the Raj Kapoor Special Contribution State Award.
The award will be given on April 27, 2010 by Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Ashok Chavan at a function to be held at the Gateway of India, Mumbai.
The Raj Kapoor Award honours achievers from the Hindi film industry. It's a state government award.
