There was a partial response to Telangana bandh called by the Telangana Students' Joint Action Committee and the Osmania University Students' JAC on Monday, in Telangana districts.
In Karimnagar district, schools and colleges remained closed while government offices, banks functioned normally. The commercial establishments downed their shutters till afternoon.
The strike was partial in urban Nizamabad district while it had partial impact in rural areas. Khammam, Kothagudem, Illendu and Palvoncha towns of Khammam district witnessed partial response to the bandh. The colleges remained closed.
