Bihar Woman Cuts off Lover's Private Parts After He Refuses To Marry Her Knowing She Is Pregnant

A woman, who ran a nursing home in Bihar’s Madhaura, was arrested after she cut off the private parts of her lover and flushed them in a toilet when he refused to marry her in Saran district, police said.

The woman, identified as Abhilasha, had been in a relationship with Vedprakash, a ward councillor of the same nursing home, for the past several years.

According to an India Today report, Abhilasha alleged that she got pregnant, and Vedprakash deceived her in the name of marriage many times. She claimed that Vedprakash asked her to do a court marriage, therefore, she applied mehendi on her hands.

However, when he refused to marry her again, the woman cut off his private parts with a knife and disposed of them in a toilet. Vedprakash is admitted to Patna Medical College and his condition is reported to be serious.

Police arrested Abhilasha and recovered the knife that was used in the crime. She said she had no regrets over the attack on her lover.

Saran Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kumar Ashish said the woman was upset by her man’s repeated refusal to marry her and that the wedding date was fixed seven to eight times.

“A woman runs a private medical centre and had an affair with this boy for many years. The wedding date was also fixed seven to eight times, but the marriage could not happen. Upset by this, the woman called the young man and cut off his private parts,” Kumar Ashish was quoted by India Today as saying.

“The police, on getting immediate information, sent the man for treatment. The woman was arrested with a knife. Further action is being taken. It will also be investigated whether her nursing home is registered or not,” the SSP added.

Last month, a 20-year-old man was allegedly tricked into a hospital visit by his friend who allegedly colluded with doctors of the Begrajpur Medical College in Uttar Pradesh to carry out the sex reassignment surgery.

The victim woke up in a hospital in Muzaffarnagar district to find out that his genitals had been removed and his sex change operation done. His friend threatened the victim that he would now have to live with him as no one from his family or community would accept him, or he would shoot his father and seize his share of the family land.
