Rajasthan Congress on Wednesday accused BJP of provoking sentiments of people for soliciting votes in elections. Addressing a public meeting in Ajmer, Rajasthan PCC president Sachin Pilot said that BJP seeks votes in the name of temple but when it comes to power, they get away from such issues.
Pilot, who is contesting Lok Sabha elections from Ajmer constituency, said that BJP made several promises before Assembly elections last year but none of those was fulfilled. He also targeted the party over distribution of tickets and said that BJP gave ticket to only one woman candidate whereas Congress fielded six woman candidates in the Lok Sabha elections in the State.
