BANGALORE: The series on CAT 2011 today primarily focuses on time management when attempting the CAT paper.  “The total examination time is 140 minutes and examinees will have 70 minutes to solve 30 questions in each section. The test will also contain a 15-minute tutorial.  The overall time limit in each section is fixed but within a section one should not plan to give specific time because the number of questions may not be fixed,” says Abhishek Jha of learnhub.com. Ajay Arora of TIME says, “Each section is of about 60 minutes duration so one must keep ten minutes as a buffer. A couple of minutes should be spent at the beginning of every section to understand the number, type and nature of questions. Not more  than four minutes should be spent on any question. Up to eight minutes can be spent on a Reading Comprehension passage or Data Interpretation caselet assuming it consists about 3 questions.”Arora also emphasises on trying to meet cut offs of each section within 60 minutes and use the last 10 minutes to maximise the score
