Caught On Cam | Dog-walker Hits Golden Retriever Inside Gurugram Apartment Lift

A shocking CCTV footage from a Gurugram apartment complex captured a golden retriever being brutally thrashed by a dog walker inside an elevator. The incident reportedly happened on May 9 at the Orchid Gardens in Sector 54.

In the visuals captured on security camera, the dog walker was spotted hitting the dog with a litter scoop. The video further shows how the man kept hitting the dog on its head and then gradually goes on to even trapping the animal’s face with the scoop.

The CCTV footage was shared by an X user named Vidit Sharma, who wrote, “Disturbing to see animal cruelty on the rise with little attention from mainstream media. Ignoring it only fuels aggression in our furry friends. It’s time to speak up and take action. Let’s protect both human and animal well-being.”

According to Sharma, who also shared a WhatsApp screenshot on the social media platform, noted that the owners of the dog were soon informed about the incident and necessary action is being taken against the man.

The shocking video has gained several views on social media and reacting to it, one of the users commented saying, “This is really sad to see this. My heart goes to that helpless dog. It is a hard lesson for people who love dogs as their family member but leave them to a person who has no empathy to the dog but to the money for walking. Pls take time for walking or do not pet them.”

Another user said, “Why? This is so sad. He / she won’t be able to say also that he/ she was tortured. My heart just ached seeing this.”

“Nice to hear for the first time from a dog lover who says ‘Let’s protect both human and animal well-being’ Otherwise they, the so called Animal Lovers, never show any emotion for the human life,” another user wrote.
