CBI arrests two for job fraud

KOCHI: The CBI Kochi unit has registered a case against two persons on charges of accepting bribe after offering the job of cabin crew with Air India Express. One of the accused, a woman, is serving with the airline as a senior cabin crew member.The CBI sleuths on Monday arrested Baby Varghese, the first accused. He is working at Kochi airport on contract basis. He was produced before the CBI Special Court here, and was remanded in custody. The CBI officials said that they had started interrogating Saritha Kannan, the second accused. According to the CBI officials, the duo received the cash by offering the job of cabin crew during the recruitment process which began in January, 2011.
