Ashwini was married to Sunil Kumar, a software engineer working in Bangalore, two years ago.According to the police, she had returned to her parents home due to some family dispute which is pending in the court.During the preliminary investigation by the VV Puram Police, it came to light that the perpetrator entered the house with the consent of the victim, as the main door of the house was locked from inside, and escaped from the back door which was kept open.Police said that prima facie there was no evidence to say that she was raped or sexually assaulted and they were waiting for the medical report.Special team set upCity Police Commissioner K L Sudheer formed a special team led by ACP Prakash Gowda and Vidyaranyapuram Inspector Harish Kumar to probe the Ashwini murder case.City Police Commissioner Sudheer said they are verifying the clues and will arrest the accused soon. Meanwhile, it has come to light that a dowry harassment complaint had been lodged at Ulsoor Gate police station in Bangalore by Ashwini a month after her marriage.Ashwini’s father Dr Jagannath Achar, who was working in the city’s KR Hospital, took voluntary retirement, said DCP Basavaraj Malagatti.Ashwini, who had joined computer classes 15 days ago, used to talk  to three persons over phone and it was objected by her parents. A 24-year-old woman was found murdered with her throat slit, in JP Nagar after she was possibly sexually assaulted on Tuesday night.
