CM lauds Bal Sahithya awardee

BANGALORE: Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda has congratulated veteran writer Na D’Souza on being conferred with the Bal Sahithya award for children’s literature.Na D’Souza has contributed immensely to the Kannada literature during the last three decades through 37 novels, four plays and 28 children books.It is befitting that he is honoured with Central Literature Academy with the award. My congratulations to him, Gowda said in a release issued here on Friday.D’Souza got this award for his novel Mulugadeya Oorige Bandavaru.Gowda also congratulated athlete Vikas Gowda and Kabaddi player Tejaswini for getting Arjuna awards.“The achievements of these young sports personalities is indeed praiseworthy.I hope that Arjuna award would inspire them to achieve further success in their chosen fields,” Gowda said.
