HYDERABAD: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy reviewed the Thane cyclone situation with revenue minister N Raghuveera Reddy and chief secretary Pankaj Dwivedi on Friday morning, over phone from Delhi.The chief minister enquired about the effect of Thane and the measures taken by the state administration.The chief secretary informed the chief minister that except the eastern part of Chittoor district which received 7 to 8 cm rainfall, in other places, the rain fall was less.The situation in cycloneaffected areas in Nellore and Chittoor is under control, the chief secretary said.He said though the sea is rough in all the districts, wind velocity is not alarming.Meanwhile, the TTD Executive Officer was directed to take all measures to ensure that pilgrims are not put to any inconvenience at Tirumala and in Tirupati because of the rains.
