Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the ED from his residence on Thursday night after a few hours of questioning in the liquor policy scam case. On Friday, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court sent him to a 6-day custody till March 28.

On the other hand, Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, Sunita Kejriwal on Saturday addressed the people of Delhi and read out a letter written by Chief Minister from jail. Delivering the address in Hindi, Sunita Kejriwal introduced herself as the wife of Arvind Kejriwal and said, “Your brother, your son has sent a message from jail.”
She then proceeded to read out the letter by Arvind Kejriwal and quoted her husband: “I was arrested last night. Whether I remain in jail or outside, I will continue to serve the country. My life, every cell of my body is dedicated to the people of this country.”
