Dasari Narayana Rao is for a give and take relationship between the newly-elected film chamber's council and the film industry. There has been an air of optimism ever since the landslide victory of Tammareddy Bharadwaj and his candidates in the recently held film chamber elections.
When they met the industry veteran at his residence to seek his blessings, Dasari assured them of his support and the help of government as and when they need. As we know, the new Council is dominated by small-time producers, who are enthusiastic to end the monopoly of the few. "This Council is composed of enthusiasts. Whenever they come to me for grievance redressal, I will be there to mediate between them and the government.
"The new Council needs the support of the industry. Likewise, they need the cooperation of exhibitors and distributors also," he said.
