THRISSUR: Cooperation Minister C N Balakrishnan has said that the Government would take a decision regarding the Pariyaram Medical College Director Board based on the report of the committee formed to examine the allegations against the functioning the board. Inaugurating a Thriveni Store in Kodungallur on Saturday, the minister said that the government would not dissolve the director board. Stating that the committee would soon submit its report, he stressed, “The policy of the UDF government is to move forward by correcting the mistakes.”He said that the government will open Mini Thriveni stores at all panchayats in the state. Rs 5 lakh will be invested per shop and a 10 percent discount will be available at these outlets. Also, these shops will also provide employment to 2,000 people, he said, adding that Mega Thriveni Marts and mobile stores will also be started in each taluk. Further, the Minister said that new Neethi medical stores and medical warehouses will be opened on a large scale in the state. T N Prathapan MLA presided over the function and KP Dhanapalan MP delivered the key note address.
