Earlier, Malviya, while posting a video in which the suspicious object can be seen, claimed that a crude bomb was found outside BJP’s office in Kolkata hours before the saffron camp’s fact-finding committee looking into the post-poll violence was set to arrive at the office.
“Crude bomb found outside BJP’s 6, Muralidhar Lane office, in the heart of Kolkata, just before the high profile fact finding committee, looking into the post-poll violence, comprising of a former Chief Minister, Cabinet Minister, DGP of UP, among others, was scheduled to visit the office,” the IT cell head said in a post on X.
“Mamata Banerjee, as Home Minister of West Bengal, is directly responsible for this lapse,” he added.
