HYDERABAD: The Dilkusha Guest House, which has been turned into a temporary office by the CBI, is likely to witness hectic activity from Sept 12.Close to 90 VIPs, including politicians and Tollywood stars, who were served notices in connection with the Emaar case, will present themselves before the agency and give their version.The womenfolk have reportedly been given a concession.They will be examined and their statements recorded at their houses.“Each one of them has been given specific dates beginning September 12,” a CBI official said.All of them own villas in the Emaar Boulder Hills Township and reportedly purchased the property at concessional rates causing a huge loss to the state exchequer.Each day from September 12, about 8 to 10 will be examined.Different time slots have been given to them.Sources said they would be examined in detail and quizzed about the rates at which the property was allotted to them and their source of funds.Simultaneously, their bank statements will also be obtained and income tax records verified.A team of the CBI officials on Thursday visited the office and residences of Lagadapati Sridhar, chairman of the Jubilee Media House, at Jubilee Hills and Madhapur.Sources said CBI sleuths had reportedly seized several documents from the office.The CBI sleuths also continued to question vice-chairman of Jagati Publications Vijay Sai Reddy for the sixth consecutive day on Thursday Reddys’ Bail Plea Posted for FridayHYDERABAD: The Special CBI court on Thursday adjourned the hearing of the bail petitions of Gali Janardhan Reddy and Srinivas Reddy and also the CBI plea seeking custody of the duo to Friday as the advocates here boycotted duties condemning the blast outside Delhi High Court on Wednesday.A CBI team arrested Janardhan Reddy and B V Srinivas Reddy, managing director of the Obulapuram Mining Company, for their alleged role in the illegal mining activities from Bellary in Karnataka.They are presently lodged in the Chanchalguda prison here.The court, which was to hear the arguments on the CBI application seeking custody of the accused duo and their bail pleas, posted the hearing for Friday after advocates staged a protest in front of the Nampally Criminal Court premises and called for boycotting the court proceedings.Over 300 advocates staged a demonstration near the entrance.
