COIMBATORE: Various DMK leaders, including former law minister Durai Murugan, visited former agriculture minister Veerapandi Arumugam and MLA J Anbazhagan on Wednesday at the Coimbatore central prison where the duo were lodged last Saturday.Addressing the media after the visit, Murugan said the two jailed DMK leaders had not demanded any special treatment and were accepting the facilities provided by the jail authorities as per the rule.“Our party leaders have been booked under false cases. We will fight it legally and the truth will come out in court. No government which is keen on foisting fake cases against the opposition party leaders has survived for long,” he added.Chennai Mayor M Subramanian, former minister Pongalur N Palanisamy, former MP M Ramanathan and orator Dindugal Leoni and Arumugam’s wife, Leela, also accompanied Murugan.
