BANGALORE: Around 100 school children are all set to visit the prestigious Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore (IIM-B) campus on Sunday for a field visit as a part of IIM-B’s annual cultural fest — Unmaad 2012.Bringing in a socially-relevant component to their cultural fest has become an annual feature of Unmaad. This year, the orgainsers have come together with the NGO Make a Difference Foundation for the social engagement programme.One of the organisers, Deepak Nanwani, said that Make a Difference Foundation is bringing a group of 100 students for a tour of the campus on Sunday. “It will be a field trip for them. Students will be shown the various facilities available on campus. They will be given food and will be able to see the cultural programmes,” he said. Also, IIM-B students plan to organise a career counselling session for the students to guide them about how they best they can utilise their potential and improve their lives in terms of professional growth, stated a release.The start of the festival will include a media conclave where a short presentation by the Make A Difference Foundation is scheduled.  “It will give the team a chance to interact with the media,” he added. Unmaad 2012 is being held from January 27th to 29th, 2012 featuring artists like Kailash Kher, Benny Prasad and Shibani Kashyap. Over 100 colleges are expected to participate in the event.
