It was the birth anniversary of Mirza Ghalib. So,at least once in a year few of us were going to Ballimaran. And for me, it was the first time. Was chatting with my camerman, assistant and driver while on our way. They got some idea that in Mumbai I used to cover films and meet filmstars almost everyday. They thought we must be going to meet someone glamourous here as well. As we were stuck in chandni chowk's heavy traffic the driver asked me "Ghalibsaab yahan rehte hain, itni bhid bhad me ?(must be wondering kahan bollywood, kahan chandni chowk ki galliyaan)I smiled and replied "nahi inki haveli hai yahan".This time the assistant was little amused. He turned back from the front seat, looked at me and asked "yahan ghar hai unka?" I said "tha. Barsoon pehle. Woh us samay amir nahi they." This time, the driver and assisstant both got confused. The driver was asking for the exact address..ye ghalibsaab kahan rehte hain ? One shopkeeper smiled and showed us the exact galli. While coming back from the shoot, the same shopkeeper asked us "Mil gaye aapko Ghalibsaab ?" This time everyone started laughing.
