Former Cong MP shot dead in Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar: Former Congress MP Wangcha Rajkumar was on Sunday shot dead by an unknown assailant at Deomali in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh, police sources said.

The assailant shot at Rajkumar from close range at a local club. He was immediately rushed to the community health centre, where he was declared as brought dead, sources said.

Rajkumar was elected to the Arunachal West parliamentary seat in 1996.
