A Government Railway Police (GRP) constable and two employees of the parking stand at Indore railway station were arrested on Monday for allegedly assaulting five journalists after a dispute, police said.
"GRP constable Devendra and two employees of the parking contractor, Sanjay Bhat and Babu Bhat, were arrested by the police for assaulting journalists," Railway Superintendent of Police, RC Burra said.
Meanwhile, taking the attack on scribes seriously, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Babulal Gaur has ordered a high level probe into the incident following which Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Imreen Shah reached Indore and took the statements of injured journalists.
Shah said that she will handover the probe report soon to Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Railways, Maithili Sharan Gupt.
On April 26, few journalists had an altercation with parking contractor employees over a petty issue following which they demanded police to arrest the accused persons after which heated arguments took place between the cops police and mediapersons.

However, the journalists are not satisfied with it and have demanded suspension of GRP police station in-charge and registration of attempt to murder case against the them.
Three policemen, including constable Devendra who has been arrested, were suspended on Sunday in connection with the incident.
