Surgeon of Sawai Man Singh Hospital and College Rajveer Arya was arrested by ACB sleuths for accepting a bribe of Rs 2,500 from a patient's son for surgery, he said.
The surgeon had demanded a cash of Rs 5,000 from a patient's son Devi Shankar Chipa for surgery in his father's leg due to gangrene, and in advance he accepted Rs 2,500 from him during the ACB raid, the spokesperson said in Jaipur. A case under Anti-Corruption Act was lodged against him, he said.
