During the hearing, counsel for CBI stated, “The CBI is filing an affidavit before the Supreme Court on August 17 seeking to extend the investigation time.”

Counsel representing Yeddyurappa and his relatives, said, “Yeddyurappa  and his son Y Raghavendra will be present within 24 hours if the CBI wants them for investigation.”
