Mumbai: Newbie Paras Arora who will be seen alongside Kangana Ranuat in 'Rajjo says he is not worried about being overshadowed in a women-centric film.
Paras is best known for his critically acclaimed portrayal of King Shivaji in the historical series 'Veer Shivaji' on television.
"I would like to thank television because that is where I started from, got recognised, and eventually 'Rajjo' happened. I did not have to audition for this role. Vishwas Sir (director Vishwas Patil) had already seen Veer Shivaji and made up his mind since then," Paras told PTI.
The actor said he is not worried about the length of his role in the film.
"I don't think I will be overshadowed anywhere. I am sure after watching the film people will still recognise me as my character is very strong," he added.
The 19-year-old said that it was good good experience to work with Kangana. "She is a fantastic actress and it was a wonderful experience. The good thing about her is that she gets into detail of every scene," he says.
In 'Rajjo' he plays an 18 years old boy named Chandu from a Maharashtrian family.
As a kid, Paras aspired to become a pilot but now he has landed in Bollywood. "I was quite good at dance, so after getting the opportunity I got into acting and now I am happy with what I have chosen," he said.
To get this film, he even skipped his class 12 exams and has no regrets about it. "There are thousands of people who will do anything for such kind of opportunity and I had the option of taking the exams even after six months so I chose my art. And to achieve something you have to lose something."
The film is set to release on November 15.
