THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: India and US should work together in the larger interests of the world, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said on Thursday. He was interacting with management students of the Kansas University School of Business (KUSB), US, here. Describing the live webcast of the Chief Minister’s office as a ‘symbolic approach,’ he said that actions of a public leader should be open to the people. To a question on how he manages to meet so many people every day, Chandy said that he enjoys meeting and interacting with the people. The 19-member KUSB team which is in India as guests of Asian School of Business (ASB) visited Kochi, Bangalore and Mysore and interacted with experts in IT, tourism and small industries. Planning Board member and member-secretary, ASB, G Vijayaraghavan, co-directors of KUSB Prof K Joseph and Prof Joyce Claterbos and ASB Dean and Academic Coordinator of the exposure programme Prof K Balakrishnan were present. This is for the second consecutive year that KUSB is sending a student team to Kerala. The students also had a brief interaction with Panchayats Minister M K Muneer.
