Jayandhi is new collector of Chennai

CHENNAI: The State Government has announced changes in the posting of some IAS officers on Sunday. S Jayandhi, Chief Executive, Perambalur Sugar Mills, will take over as Chennai Collector vice K A Annamalai (DRO), holding additional charge, a release said.Dev Raj Dev will be the new Secretary of the SHRC vice M Jayaraman.Jayaraman will now be posted as JC, Revenue Administration, vice Rajesh Lakhoni. P Senthilkumar, CAO, Market Management Committee, CMDA had been posted as Additional Director of Sugar, a temporary post. Similarly, G Govindaraj, GM, Tamil Nadu Warehousing Corporation, has been posted as Additional Director of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, another temporary sanctioned post.C Manoharan, Senior Regional General Manager, TNCSC, Chennai (North) had been transferred and posted as Additional Registrar of Coope Societies.P Shankar, Director of Information and Public Relations, will continue in the same post in the IAS cadre and he will also be the Ex-Officio Deputy Secretary to the government for Tamil Development, Religious Endowments and Information Department.S Madhumathi, former Chennai Collector, has been posted as Commissioner of Thoothukudi vice Dinesh Ponraj Oliver (DRO) while V Kalaiarasi, Special DRO (Land Acquisition for National Highway - 68) had been posted as Regional Deputy Commissioner (Central) and V Mohanraj, Special Officer, Tirupattur Cooperative Sugar Mills, had been posted Regional Deputy Commissioner (South).
