Bangalore: The Karnataka government and the Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprise (NICE) seem to be on a collision course.
Now both the JDS and the BJP will be holding separate meetings with their legislators to decide on the next course of action.
The move comes just ahead of the month-long legislature session.
The two parties are likely to take a decision on how to deal with issue of excess land used by NICE.
The JDS -BJP coalition government is upset with the construction company for having gone ahead with the inauguration despite its objections.
"As far as taking back excess land is concerned, there is no difference between JDS and BJP. On Monday, the BJP legislature party will meet and after going through the pros and cons, we'll arrive at a decision," says BJP spokesperson Suresh Kumar.
"Our party is meeting on Sunday. After that, the Chief Minister, the party president and party national president will decide what to do, how to do," Law Minister Basavaraj Horatti said.
