THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Justice Mukul Mudgal, the one-member committee appointed by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to probe into all aspects related to doping among athletes, will meet the former athletes, international players and trainers here. The meeting scheduled for Tuesday will be attended by staff, trainees and trainers of LNCPE at LNCPE conference hall. On the second day of the meeting, which will be held on Wednesday at Mascot Hotel, former players, association representatives and international athletes will air their concerns and suggestions regarding doping. The committee was appointed against the backdrop of recent doping incident which had invited abomination to the sporting culture of the country. Several leading athletes including a couple of Kerala sports personalities were caught during an anti-doping test conducted by NADA. The case is before a separate NADA disciplinary committee. Meanwhile,five Indian athletes were given two-year ban by NADA the other day after their results showed positive.
