Karnataka Bar Council poll held

BANGALORE: The election to the prestigious Karnataka Bar Council was conducted peacefully here on Thursday.
Barring a couple of incidents of candidates distributing telephone directories and Parker pens, no untoward incidents were reported during the election held at the City Civil Court Complex. Even the candidates who were distributing the pens and other things refrained from doing so after the electoral officer directed them to the stop distribution. Forty six candidates from the city are in the fray for the 25member council.
