The award-winning documentary by Deepti Kakkar and Mustafa is the story of an electricity thief in Kanpur, who provides Robin Hood style services to the poor people in a city that faces 15 hours power cut every day.
The main leads in this documentary are Loha Singh and Ritu Maheshwari, who have no relation except for the fact that one earns his living by stealing electricity and other one is a bureaucrat working for a power plant.
Ritu Maheshwati has vowed to put an end to all illegal connections in Kanpur and that's when the two characters come to terms.
