Salman Khan's Kick continues to crush it at the Box Office. The film, which has already entered Rs 200 crore club and surpassed friend Aamir Khan's '3 Idiots' BO collection, has pulled off another feat by turning the highest overseas grosser of this year.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh's recent tweet, the overseas collection of the film has crossed over $ 10 million (Rs 61.35 crore). According to his tweet, the film has emerged highest overseas grosser of 2014.
Even though 'Kick' was lambasted by movie critics for not offering anything new to the viewers, it has become one of the most financially successful film of this year. This clearly explains the huge fan following which the star enjoys.
And the fact that the film stays true to Salman Khan style, without paying much attention to the plot and the logic used in the story, critics referred to 'Kick' as a perfect choice only for his die-hard fans.
The action thriller, which is Salman Khan's seventh film to enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club in a row, was released in over 5,000 screens in India and 42 other countries which also included non-traditional markets such as France, Germany, Morocco and Maldives.
The film also made headlines because it marked the directorial debut of Sajid Nadiadwala, who is popular for producing the blockbusters like 'Housefull', 'Heropanti', '2 States' and 'Highway'.
