Amritsar: Team Anna member and former IPS officer Kiran Bedi on Saturday held meetings with Anna Hazare supporters to motivate them to carry the stir against graft to its logical conclusion.
Bedi told them the crusade launched by Anna Hazare against corruption would continue till it reached its logical end.
She said it would be wrong to say that Anna's agitation for Jan Lokpal Bill was ever fragile. Bedi said the present Lokpal Bill was not adequate to curtail corruption.
Launching a scathing attack on the Congress, she alleged the party had cheated them by introducing a fractured bill in Parliament for curbing corruption.
Bedi alleged if the CBI becomes autonomous, it would be able to contain corrupt practices. She said no political party could diminish the sprit of Anna team which was demanding a strong Jan Lokpal Bill to save the nation from corrupt people.
