HYDERABAD: Well-Known freedom fighter and 96-old Telangana protagonist Konda Laxman Bapuji has decided to lead a new political front, Telangana Rashtra Sadhana Udayama Committee, to intensify the Telangana movement and achieve people's long-pending wish.Bapuji announced here on Sunday that the new organisation would meet here on August 14 when an announcement would be made on the composition of the committee. The objectives of the committee will also be announced on that day. The Samanvaya Committee meeting held here in the day was attended by Telangana TDP Forum convener E Dayakar Rao, Congress leader Jupally Krishna Rao, TDP rebel MLA K Hareeshwar Reddy and leaders of several other people's originations and intellectuals from various universities of the region. All of them said it was the right time to achieve Telangana state and extended their support to Bapuji in his mission.Bapuji said that there was no need for fresh resignations of MLAs and MPs since they had already proved their commitment to the Telangana cause. He said the TRS-backed TJAC had failed to carry all people's organisations alogn with it. He said his front would strengthen the movement from the village level with participation of all sections of society. He called all sections of the Telangana society to take part in the activities of the Samanvaya Committee. TDP leader Dayakar Rao faced some embarrassment when several participants raised an objection to his presence. They did not allow the leader to express his views. Only after Bapuji's intervention could he address the meeting.
