Apple has unveiled the next generation of its trendsetting smartphone at an event at San Francisco's Yerba Buena Centre for the Arts. The Apple iPhone 5 is widely expected to offer 4G wireless technology for the first time, and a 4-inch display, up from the current 3.5 inches.
