From playing a spoilt brat in Karan Johar's 'Student Of The Year' to being the solo hero in his new film 'Main Tera Hero', Varun Dhawan has made a move for which many debutantes have to wait for years. Considering the fact that Varun features as the protagonist in father David's film, not only does his responsibility to take every aspect - comic timing, dialogue delivery, flawless dance moves - seriously amplifies, he also has to live up to the expectations that arise from him being the Dhawan scion.
For the uninitiated, the film is about a college dropout Sheenu (Varun Dhawan), who is entangled in a complicated love triangle with Sunaina (Ileana D'Cruz) and Ayesha (Nargis Fakhri). The film, which has been produced by Ekta Kapoor, also features Anupam Kher, Arunodaya Singh and Evelyn Sharma in key roles.
While Sonakshi Sinha, who watched the film yesterday, took to Twitter to laud Varun's efforts and referred to him as the new age Govinda, it is the viewers who will decide the fate of the film. Will 'Main Tera Hero' be a comedy and not just a funny film in its premise? Will it succeed in spawning some memorable quotes which the viewers would like to speak publicly for years? Will 'Main Tera Hero' which is filled with jabs including Katrina Kaif's command over Hindi language, Emraan Hashmi's image as a serial kisser, etc leave the cine goers in splits?
