Various missing cases often go viral on the internet every day. Recently, similar news has been making headlines from Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. A boy went missing from this area for 20 years, and his mother is still looking for him.
According to reports, even after 20 years, the mother is searching for her son in the neighbourhood with the picture of her lost son. The incident took place in Rabindra Sarani of Jalpaiguri district, ward number two.
The name of the missing boy is Sajal Sarkar. He was 11 years old when he went missing. The boy could speak properly; he could only speak of his mother, father, and grandfather and nothing else. He used to explain his thoughts only through gestures.
His father, Nanigopal Sarkar, is a hawker by profession. He earns a living by selling sweets. While his mother is a housewife, However, Nanigopal Sarker has three daughters and one son. Currently, all three of his daughters are married. Sajal was the youngest of all of them.
Even after 20 years, Sajal’s mother is searching the neighbourhood with Sajal’s photo. Asking people on the street about her missing child. As per reports, Sajal went missing twenty years ago on his way to school and is still not found even today.

Earlier, a similar incident went viral. The child had gone missing from a field near his Ahiritola residence in north Kolkata on February 10, 2017, following which his father lodged a police complaint. Later, the Nadia district administration rescued the boy in 2018 from Karimpur and initially kept him at a government home there.
After this, a television program has helped reunite the teenager with his parents over two and a half years after he went missing.
