New Delhi: Newly released film Lage Raho Munnabhai has been made tax-free in the Capital.
In view of the Sanjay Dutt-starrer promoting the Gandhian ideals of truth and non-violence, Delhi Government on Tuesday decided to make it tax-free, an official spokesman said.
"The movie will be tax free with immediate effect," he said.
The film, released last week, is a sequel to the very successful Munnabhai MBBS that was released two years back.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the movie is being shown in theatres as the country commemorates 100 years of Satyagraha movement launched by Mahatma Gandhi in South Africa.
Munnabhai and Circuit have not only endeared themselves to their fans in their second innings on the big screen but they have also managed to conquer the box office.
