Microsoft India Chairman Ravi Venkatesan has said that there is no place for trade unions in IT industry.
Kolkata Leading software major Microsoft India is strongly opposed to the idea of forming of trade unions (TUs) in the information technology (IT) industry.
Microsoft India Chairman Ravi Venkatesan on Thursday said that TUs do not have any role to play in the IT industry in India.
?There should be no third party interference in the IT industry. Both the management and employees are well equipped to run the industry," Venkatesan said.
Earlier, some Left trade unions had demanded that employees should be allowed to form unions for protecting their rights.
