Chennai: A day after the twin blasts on board a train at the Chennai Central Railway Station, normalcy has returned to the busy station, with trains functioning as per schedule. Chennai residents are demanding increased security so that they can travel without fear.
"I don't think the security is enough. There isn't proper security even today," said a Chennai resident.
One person was killed and 14 injured after two blasts went off on the Bangalore-Guwahati Express when it had made an halt at Chennai. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has ordered a CB-CID and SIT probe into the blasts together with the Railways Police.
Two people were detained on Thursday and both have been released. The CISF has issued alerts to all airports across the country.
