North RoB: Second bay demolition to hit traffic

KOCHI: With the dismantling of the second bay of the North Railway Overbridge (RoB) scheduled for Monday, the traffic authorities are unsure regarding the feasibility of traffic diversion owing to the pending work on Chittoor road.“The remaining stretch of Chittoor road needs to be repaired in order to ensure effective traffic diversion on account of the second bay’s demolition. But as of now, we are not sure whether the work will be completed by then,” K S Baby Vinod, Assistant Commissioner, Traffic (East), has said.
